The Silent Compliance Committee can decrypt the privacy and data of a target user account that was provided by the silent ghost layer - when & if required.
The Silent Compliance Committee acts as a gatekeeper organisation securing the Silent Protocol’s ghost layer in order to provide healthy privacy to normal users while negating away right to privacy for the bad actors at the protocol layer.
The ethos of decentralisation is maintained while formulating and operating the committee and while also executing decryption proposals through the committee, by utilising threshold cryptography.
